Brad Sewell is an aggressive player who serves as a defender or back-up midfielder. He was selected with pick. 6 in the rookie draft in 2003 and has made great strides since then.
2006 proved to be his breakout year, when he came a narrow third in the club's Best and Fairest, collecting 130 votes behind Sam Mitchell and Luke Hodge. He played all 22 games for the season, and, much to his delight, kicked his first and second goal in the last match of the year against the Geelong Cats.
