Breezy is 1973 romance and drama film, starring William Holden and Kay Lenz. It was written by Jo Heims and directed by Clint Eastwood. It was the third film directed by Eastwood.

Edith Alice "Breezy" Breezerman (Kay Lenz) is a carefree young hippie. Frank Harmon (William Holden) is a divorced, burnt-out, middle-aged real estate agent. During the film they fall in love, and each teaches the other a little about life.

  • An earlier collaboration between Jo Heims and Clint Eastwood was Play Misty for Me in 1971. Eastwood was directing his first film with a screenplay written by Heims based on his story.
  • Clint Eastwood doesn't act in Breezy (as he did in some of the films he directed, eg in Play Misty for Me) but he appears uncredited as "Man in Crowd on Pier".
  • Universal Pictures released the film to DVD in 2004 with a running time of 106 min (NTSC). [5] The film is presented in widescreen and Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono. [6]
  • German title: Begegnung am Vormittag (translates in English to Encounter in the Morning).
