Brent Smedley

Brent Smedley, born 1971 in Alexandria, Virginia USA, is a heavy metal drummer who currently lives in Jacksonville, Florida, he play drums in the Thrash/Power Metal band Iced Earth. He has also plays in Tempest Reign. Brent is also a very well-known drum instructor and currently teaches all over Jacksonville. Brent also Played In the bands Odyssey and Oracle with great Musicians like James MacDonough (former bassist for Iced Earth) and his brother Kent Smedley.

Brent has been in Iced Earth three times - from 1996 to 1997, 1998 to 1999, and again from October 2006 [1] Brent played drums on the Alive in Athens record in 1999 and also appear on the DVD Brent will tour with Iced Earth in 2007/2008 and record two albums that will be based on the "Something Wicked" story written by the bands rhythm guitarist Jon Schaffer.
