Brent Tate (born March 3, 1982 in Roma, Queensland) is an Australian rugby league player for the Brisbane Broncos in the National Rugby League competition. He also represents Queensland and Australia. His position of choice is at centre but can also play on the wing. Due to an ongoing neck problem Tate plays with a special brace.

Recently there has benn speculation that Tate may switch codes and sign with the Queensland Reds in 2008
