British Airways flies to destinations on every inhabited continent. The following list does not include cities only served by BA Connect, GB Airways, British Mediterranean Airways, or other affiliated regional carriers - see British Airways franchise destinations for further information.

From March 2007 the following routes will cease from London Gatwick Airport: Athens, Hassi Messaoud, Kiev, Newcastle, and Riga. In replacement new services will commence to Dresden, Newquay, and Sarajevo. All three routes will use Boeing 737 300/400/500 series aircraft.

From March 2007 a new longhaul service from London Gatwick Airport begins with a three times weekly service to Port of Spain, Trinidad using a Boeing 777-200 aircraft. [1]
