Brogden Middle School

Brogden Middle School is a public school located in Durham, North Carolina. It is part of the Durham Public Schools System. The school runs on a traditional schedule and is open from 7:00 to 4:00 according to the schools website [1]. Like most middle schools, Brogden runs from 6th to 8th Grade. The urban school describes it's mission as:

"Brogden Middle School's vision/philosophy is to foster the community towards life long learning, thereby challenging each student to reach his/her full potential. To foster this, Brogden Middle School offers a wide range of academic and extra-curricular activities, all with the goal of developing self-disciplined and innovative thinkers."

The school's mascot/nickname is a dragon, thus the nickname for their gym "The Dragon's Den". The school colors are green and white. Brogden Middle School is located on 1001 Leon Street, Durham, NC 27704[2]. Other middle schools in the district include:
