Burim Myftiu

Burim Myftiu is an American-Albanian Fine Art Photographer from Kosovo. He specialized Photography in New York, NYIP. Co-founder of PACK - Photo Arts Collective of Kosovo and organizer and Director of DOKUFEST[1] - International Documentary and Short Film Festival. Curator of :"Gjon Mili Prize-2004" - International photography Contest in National Art Gallery in Priština, Kosovo, DOKUFOTO 2003, 2004 and 2005 International Festival of Documentary Photography in Prizren, Kosovo. His work is presented in several individual photography exhibitions in USA and Kosovo. Presently he is Comercial and Documentary Photographer at the same time he is Photography Editor in EXPRESS - Daily Newspaper. He also teaches photography classes and workshops and doing curatorial work. Participated in Juries of Film Festivals and juried in photography contests. Founder of "Kosova Images"-Photography Agency. Serving as a regional Liaison Officer of FIAP - Federation International de l'Art photographique. He resides and works in Priština and Connecticut, USA.
