Burn My Eyes is the debut album by Oakland heavy metal band Machine Head. Its themes lie in the social disorder that the band grew up in, reflected in Robb Flynn's lyrics. The album is considered by magazines like Metal Hammer (UK) to be one of the seminal metal albums released in the 1990s and one of the more significant metal releases overall.

Drummer Chris Kontos left shortly after the release of the album, and was replaced by Dave McClain who remains with the band to this day.

The song 'Blood for Blood' contains a guitar riff similar to the one used by Slayer in the song 'Spirit in Black' from their 'Seasons in the Abyss' album.

It became Roadrunner Records best seller very quickly and is widely considered to be the best debut on that label. The album was the label's best-selling debut album for a number of years, exceeded by Slipknot's 1999 self-titled debut.

On October 31st 2006, Roadrunner Records announced that as part of their 25th Anniversary, they will be re-releasing Burn My Eyes with a bonus CD, which includes previously unreleased tracks and rarities. It was said to be due out on January the 8th, 2007 but has been pushed back to September 2007 so it does not interfere with the release of 'The Blackening'.
