CAD 2.0
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
CAD 2.0 is defined as a net-native Web 2.0 service that transforms the design process for products and living spaces from a designer-led to consumer-led approach. CAD 2.0 is Consumer-Aided Design. In the world of Computer-Aided Design (CAD 1.0) there has been little attention paid to the notion of collaborative product or living space design driven by the consumer. CAD 1.0 players have built collaborative design solutions for business supply chains, but this has been focused on a design-to-manufacturing process, not consumer-led product or living space design.
