CBF-FM-10

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

CBF-FM-10 is a French-language Canadian radio station located in Sherbrooke, Quebec.

Owned and operated by the (government-owned) Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (French : Société Radio-Canada), it broadcasts on 101.1 MHz with an effective radiated power of 35,000 watts (class B) using an omnidirectional antenna.

The station has an ad-free news/talk format and is part of the La Première Chaîne network, which operates across Canada. Like all La Première Chaîne stations, but unlike most FM stations, it broadcasts in mono.

Despite its call sign, CBF-FM-10 is no longer a rebroadcaster of CBF-FM as it became a separate station in 2000. [1] The station has its own afternoon drive show ("Estrie-Express", Monday to Friday from 3 to 5 p.m.); the rest of the programming is a simulcast of CBF-FM from Montreal.

The following stations are fulltime rebroadcasters of CBF-FM-10 :
