Halifax, Nova Scotia radio station CHFX (FX101.9) broadcasts from 101.9 on the FM dial; its format has been country & western for many years. Sister station 89.9 HAL FM shares staff and on-air personalities with FX101.9. The two stations are housed at 5121 Sackville St. in Halifax, overlooking the Halifax Harbour, and are owned by Maritime Broadcasting System.
