Caloundra City Council is a Local Government Area (LGA) in South East Queensland, Australia, on the coastal region of the Sunshine Coast.

The LGA covers the urban localities of Caloundra & Kawana and surrounding suburbs, the northern half of Bribie Island, and the western hinterland towns of Maleny & Witta.

The LGA was formed as Landsborough Shire on February 22, 1912 after seceding from the Caboolture Divisional Board. Landsborough Shire attained City status on December 19, 1987 and was renamed Caloundra City.[3]
