Cambodian franc

The franc was the currency of Cambodia between 1875 and 1885. It was equal to the French franc and similarly subdivided into 100 centimes. It replaced the tical and was replaced by the piastre.
Coins were issued in denominations of 5 centimes up to 4 francs along with the piastre, whose silver content relative to the franc would suggest a value of 5.4 francs. All the coins were dated 1860 but were minted (mostly in Belgium) in 1875. They all bear the portrait of King Norodom.
