Captain are an English band from London, who formed in early 2005. They perform a range of alternative rock songs, getting their musical influences from groups such as the Smashing Pumpkins, The Beach Boys and My Bloody Valentine. They are currently signed to EMI.

The band have been working with producer Trevor Horn, who has helped create their debut album This Is Hazelville, which was released on August 14, 2006.

Recently the band have been working on their second album with Barney Barnicot. Some songs from their second album have been played on their recent London ICA, Norwich Arts Centre and Glastonbury shows. The second album is due to be recorded before their November UK Tour.
