Caribou is a Census-designated place located in Plumas County, California, USA. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 0. The closest communities are Belden to the southwest, Twain to the southeast, Canyondam to the north, and Greenville to the east.
Caribou is located at 40°4'48" North, 121°9'27" West (40.079929, -121.157397)GR1.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²). 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there are no people living in the town. According the the US Census data, there are only two buildings in the community, both of them listed as "Vacant housing units" and "For seasonal, recreational, or occasional use". [1]
