Castelnuovo del Garda is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 120 km west of Venice and about 15 km west of Verona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,988 and an area of 34.7 km2.[1]

The municipality of Castelnuovo del Garda contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Oliosi, Sandrà, and Cavalcaselle.

Castelnuovo del Garda borders the following municipalities: Bussolengo, Lazise, Peschiera del Garda, Sirmione, Sona, and Valeggio sul Mincio.
