"Catholic School Girls Rule" is a single from the 1985 album Freaky Styley by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The song is loosely based on a girl who attended a local catholic school that singer Anthony Kiedis had a brief fling with. A video for the single has been made and directed by longtime friend Dick Rude, but was often not aired or edited because of a nude scene. The video has only aired once on television making its only appearance on the Playboy Channel.
The main guitar riff contained on the song resembles the guitar riff on a song titled 'Thirsty And Miserable' by american hardcore band 'Black Flag'. This may be to show homage, as Black Flag were one of Red Hot Chili Peppers influences.
