Cauayan, Negros Occidental

Cauayan is a 1st class municipality in the province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 88,610 people in 16,704 households.
The Municipality has a total land area of 520 sq. km.

Cauayan is politically subdivided into 25 barangays.
