2006 Challenge Tour

The 2006 season on men's golfs Challenge Tour, the official developmental tour run by the PGA European Tour, was comprised of 31 tournaments played in Europe, Latin America, East Africa and Central Asia. The leading money winner was Mark Pilkington of Wales with earnings of €119,152. Based on tournament wins the most successful countries were the United Kingdom with eight wins, all by different players, (4 by Englishmen, 3 by Welshmen and one by a Scot) and Spain, with six wins by six different players. Frenchman Adrien Mörk shot the first 59 in the history of the PGA European Tour's three tours at the Moroccan Classic.
