Cham is a municipality in the canton of Zug in Switzerland.

It has an area of 19.82 km² and, as of 2005, a population of 13,894.

The city, on the northern shore of Lake Zug, was awarded the Wakker Prize in 1991 for the preservation of its architectural heritage.

The town's first charter dates from 1360.

It is a modern small city-town that offer exceptional conditions for living and for kids to grow up with great benefits.

Located strategically between the cities of Lucerne and Zurich, close to Zug, Cham can be accessed by highway (From Lucerne and Zug), train, boat (from Zug on summer time), bike and bus, this small city has its own clinic, excellent installations for primary and secondary schools, kindergarten and great public green and sport areas are available all year around.

Cham also provide the visitors and residents with hotel services, congress room, churches (catholic & reformist), marina, it owns castle (St. Andreas) and several of different kind of restaurants.
