Chao Phraya Express Boat

An express boat service operates on the Chao Phraya, providing fast, inexpensive transportation in traffic-congested inner Bangkok, Rattanakosin (old city) and Nonthaburi. The service has serve both local commuters and tourists.
The 21 km route is served by 65 boats of 200 seats, and operates 6:00am to 7:30pm daily. Prices are 9 to 32 baht, depending on distance travelled. The service carries about 40,000 passengers per day. It is run by a company called Chao Phraya Express Boat Company.
The service runs between Nonthaburi and Ratburana districts in Bangkok. At Sathorn pier in Sathon districts is an interchange, where passengers able to change boats or change their transportaton to ferry, longtail boat, skytrain and bus.
