Chiana is a fictional character on the television science fiction series Farscape, and is played by Gigi Edgley.

Chiana is a Nebari, a grey-skinned race whose society is heavily regimented by the government (known as The Establishment). Chiana's independent ways make her a target for government reprogramming (called "cleansing"), but she successfully escapes from their custody while on Moya, and ends up a passenger on Moya with the rest of the crew.

Chiana is best known for her adventurous spirit and open nature. She has shown that she is a more than competent fighter, and amazingly agile and acrobatic. She tends to crouch on objects, rather than sit or stand.

Chiana has had a romantic relationship with D'Argo, which underwent several shifts during the course of the series, but ended when, feeling pressure to settle down but unwilling to commit to D'Argo, she had an affair with D'Argo's son Jothee. D'Argo distanced himself from her immediately afterwards, but later the two grew closer again, eventually resuming their relationship. She also has displayed an attraction to John Crichton, who has bestowed upon her the nickname "Pip" (which is reportedly actor Ben Browder's real-life nickname for Gigi Edgley). She also attracted the less-friendly nickname of "Miss Monochrome" from Jool not long after they first met.

Chiana was present and assisted with the birth of Moya's son, Talyn and maintained an emotional connection with both Moya and Pilot after the event.

Chiana has one named relative, her brother Nerri, three years her senior. Along with Nerri, she escaped Nebari Prime at a young age, and then the two traveled around for some years. Nerri decided to join the resistance fighting against the Nebari leaders, and split up with Chiana so she would not be endangered by his activities. Chiana still harbors hopes of meeting up with him and joining the resistance too.

After her encounter with an Energy Rider, Chiana began to experience precognitive visions that left her with blindness and splitting headaches. These visions later evolved into being able to see the present and future in slow motion, and each time she used this ability, the blindness afterwards lasted longer, until she ended up completely blind. Later on she received new eyes from a Diagnosan that allowed her to see energy sources and to see through walls.
