Chinese refers to anything pertaining to China. Specifically, it may refer to:
- Chinese people, people of Chinese ethnicity
- Zhonghua minzu, the supra-ethnic Chinese nationality
- Han Chinese, the dominant ethnic group in China
- Ethnic minorities in China, the non-Han Chinese population in mainland China and Taiwan
- Overseas Chinese, people of Chinese ancestry who live outside China
- Chinese language, a language or language family that forms part of the Sino-Tibetan family of languages
- Standard Mandarin, the standard spoken form of the Chinese and most commonly taught as a foreign language
