Chris Foxworth (born April 19, 1983?), professionally known as Chris Foxx, is an African American music impresario and event promoter.

Foxworth was born to Lynn and Michael Foxworth of New Orleans, Louisiana. As a child he regularly modeled for the publication The Times-Picayune. He is nephew of renowned art enthusiast Rebecca Foxworth and cousin of Denver Broncos cornerback Domonique Foxworth.
Chris Foxx began his career's in music and event promotions working under Anthony "Boz" Boswell President of No Limit Records and Stan Wiltz of Big Stan Productions respectively. Through what some called a mutual courtship, Chris Foxx joined the crew of Renaissance Records where he enudred a three year stay. Foxx credits witnessing the rise of former Renaissance artist World Leader Pretend as a key turning point in his career in music. By the time his tenure with Renaissance officially came to an end, Foxx was already promoting a mixtape called "The 504 Takeover" hosted by himself alongside Dirty South producer "O.T." which is seen by many as his breakout project. Since that project Foxx has released six more mixtapes including the critically acclaimed "Almost Famous" (Fall 2004) and "Power Move" (Summer 2005) which helped Chris Foxx score a major buzz and a nomination for "Best 'HOST' on a mixtape" at the 2005 Southern Entertainment Awards. Foxx is also a celebrated figure in the field of artist development. Foxx's reputation as an industry tastemaker spread and set off a bidding war of suitors for his expertise in early 2005. An early rumor that year hinted that he was assuming a post at hip hop label Disturbing Tha Peace. Reports later proved that claim was inaccurate and though he had been in talks with the label, that an executive deal did not materialize. Months later as Foxx's "Power Move" mixtape moved thousands of units throughout the country becoming his most succsfual mixtape statistically; Chris Foxx continued making his own "power move's sparking yet another bidding war between suitors from two labels in the big four and landing a spot on urban publication Diamonz Quarterly's "Top 25 under 25" list. Foxx is a founding member of the Southern hip hop faction Tha GMC and Best Out Media [1]. Best Out Media in conjunction with YouTube recently launched Chris Foxx TV[2].
On the Chris Foxx hosted mixtape "The 504 Takeover" rap artist Will The Great dissed Young City formerly of Da Band a group created by rap mogul Diddy. In the month's following the diss, associate's of Young City allegedly harrassed Foxx by phone and through third party messages regarding the diss. It was said that Young City held Foxx responsible for letting the diss air since it was his mixtape and he had all of the creative control. Ozone magazine later reported an incident involving Young City and unidentified individuals outside of an Atlanta night club. Young City's camp later hinted that the individuals were Murphy "The Great One" Maldanado and Michael "British" Moore who are both well known associates of Foxx's. Choppa a southern rapper and one time neighbor of Foxx's also had a confrontation with Young City at a nightclub in Houston which once again garnered claims from Young City's camp of Foxx's involvement. At a Hip Hop Summit months later Foxx's former boss Anthony "Boz" Boswell brokered a truce between the young men. Since then the two have actually worked together with Young City making appearances on two Chris Foxx hosted mixtape's (Power Move & Position of Power).
Concrete Loop and All Urban Gossip; both highly popular urban gossip blog's, briefly reported Foxx was seeing former Real World cast member Irulan Wilson after the two made public appearances together including a party given by producer Scott Storch. Reps from the MM casting agency that reps many former Real World cast members told the press the connection between the two is mutual friend Theo Vonkurnatowski a former cast member of MTV's Road Rules. Chris Foxx was linked to actress Lauren London after photos of the two at New York night spot PM showed up on the internet. [3] Sara Pickett has long been a topic amongst Chris Foxx banter but seems to be a dead issue as of recently. Foxx who is known for his hard partying is a mainstay on the Manhattan nightlife scene usually teaming up with his buddy and gossip column favoirte Eric West who's been dubbed the " the black Paris Hilton ".
