The City of Knox is a Local Government Area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It has an area of 114 square kilometres. In June 2006 it had a population of just over 150,000.
Suburbs within the boundaries of the city include:
- Bayswater
- Boronia
- Ferntree Gully
- Knoxfield
- Lysterfield
- Rowville
- Scoresby
- The Basin
- Wantirna
- Wantirna South
The Knox Transit Link runs in between Vermont South Shopping Centre Tram Terminus and Knox City Shopping Centre Bus Terminus. This will be used until the 75 tramline is extended from Vermont South to Knox City Shopping Centre.
The new tollway EastLink will run through Knox.
