The City of Wyndham is a Local Government Area in Victoria, Australia. It is located in the outer south-western suburbs of Melbourne between Melbourne and the regional city of Geelong. It has an area of 542 km².

The city is home to numerous new housing estates in suburbs such as Point Cook and Sanctuary Lakes. In 1994, Wyndham had a population of 72,000. By 2001 the population had risen to 83,000. By 2002, it had grown to 100,080, and in 2007 the population is nearing 120,000.
The growth rate as of 2006 is above 8%, and Local Government Victoria estimates that it is the third fastest growing local government area in Victoria.
