Clare Tomlinson (b. 1968, Grantham, Lincolnshire) is an anchorwoman for the British satellite sports network Sky Sports, and has worked there for more than ten years. She mainly co-presents Goals On Sunday, Sky Sports' Sunday morning football highlights programme, as well as presenting Sky Sports News, on their late show Through the Night. In addition, she co-presents BSkyB's UEFA Champions League coverage alongside Richard Keys, informing viewers of the interactive options available to Sky Sports subscribers.

At the time of writing, she is not presenting 'Goals on Sunday' after being placed on leave for 2 months. This followed an infamous interview with the Derby County goalkeeper Steven Bywater where he spelled out an obscenity during an anecdote and was not reprimanded for it by Tomlinson or co-presenter Chris Kamara.

She also became the first ever female to present the PFA Awards Ceremony at the Grosvenor Hotel in London on April 22nd, 2007.

In the early 1990s, Tomlinson worked at the Football Association as a media officer. Later in the decade, she was appointed as the head of the communications department at Arsenal Football Club, where she helped the then new manager Arsène Wenger deal with the media [1].

Clare has been given a leave of absence by Sky due to stress and depression. However many believe her real leave of absence is due to the fact that when Derby Goalkeeper Steven Bywater used a very offensive word on Goals on Sunday in which Clare co-presents with Chris Kamara she failed to apoligise. Sky of course deny this.

She is also a fan of Tottenham Hotspur FC
