From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Cleveland railway line is a suburban railway line in Brisbane, Australia. It is part of the QR Citytrain Network. It runs south, then east across the southern side of the Brisbane River to Cleveland on Moreton Bay.

The Cleveland railway line first opened in 1888[1]. 75 years later after the opening of the line, the alignment from Lota to Cleveland was closed. [2]. The line from Lota to Cleveland was re-opened on a new alignment to Cleveland in the late 1980s

It branches from the Beenleigh line at Park Road and connects to the Doomben Line.
