Club Phusion

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Club Phusion is a HD2 Rhythmic/Dance Top 40 station, one of seven Dance-formated HD2 stations being launched by Clear Channel Communications through their Format Lab, a new division set up to expand music formats over their HD2 subcarriers. It will also make the format available to other broadcasters as well.

Club Phusion was launched on March 31, 2006 over the subcarrier channel of Top 40 Mainstream KZCH/Wichita, Kansas and offers a heavily-focused Top 40 playlist that is mostly made up of current Dance hits and Rhythmic/Pop remixes, all commercial-free and jockless 24/7. It is also expected to expand the format to sister stations WKST/Pittsburgh and KDWB/Minneapolis-St. Paul (Which is billing it under the "Party Zone" name), with more stations expected to be announced later.
