Cold Roses is Ryan Adams' sixth official album, classified under the artist name Ryan Adams and the Cardinals. It is the first in a trilogy of albums released in a seven-month timespan. Released on May 2, 2005 in the UK and May 3, 2005 in the U.S..

Although all the tracks can fit on a standard 80-minute disc, it is a double album, and its packaging is made to look like a vinyl LP, with the actual CDs looking like records.

Cindy Cashdollar - Steel Guitar, Lap Steel, Resonator Guitar, Vocals (Ms. Cashdollar plays a 1955 Fender D-8 Steel guitar, a Paul Beard Resophonic guitar, a Phoenix custom lap steel, an Asher Electro Hawaiian lap steel, Fender custom 15 amps, and John Pearse Strings.)

Brad Pemberton - Drums, Vocals (Mr. Pemberton plays Pearl drums, Pro-Mark drumsticks and Zildjian cymbals.)

Catherine Popper - Bass guitar, Vocals, Some Piano (Ms. Popper plays a 1967 Guild Starfire 1 and an 1850's Dukiebaul French flatback.)
