RiverPlace Condominiums
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
RiverPlace Condominiums is a residential tower that is proposed to be built on the Baton Rouge Riverfront and currently in the design phase, but is expected to reach groundbreaking this year.[1] When built, it will effectively become the tallest building in the I-10 corridor from New Orleans to Houston, ending the Louisiana State Capitol building's 74 year reign over the city's skyline. If completed before the renovation of the Crescent City Towers in New Orleans is finished, it will be the tallest residential building in the state. The project is headed up by real estate executive Richard Preis.
The RiverPlace condominium project planned for downtown was scheduled for an early 2007 groundbreaking, but has been postponed to June of 2007.
