Coombes

Coombes is a village and civil parish in the Adur District of West Sussex, England. It is located three miles (5km) north of Shoreham by Sea on the River Adur. The 11th century village church has frescoes, some of the most important in England, and painted at various times up to 1753.
This small village has a parish meeting, rather than a parish council. It covers an area of 525.81ha and has a population (2001 census) of 51 persons.
There is a farm, Coombes Farm, and Applesham Farm is also fairly close.
