Infante Pedro of Portugal, Count of Urgell and Lord of the Balearic Islands (pron. IPA: ['pedɾu]); English: Peter) was the second son of King Sancho I of Portugal and his wife Dulce Berenguer, infanta of Aragon. He was Count of Urgell by marriage to Countess Aurembiaix of Urgell, and after her death occupied the same position in a titular capacity. He was also Lord of the Balearic Islands. He was born in Coimbra on February 23, 1187. Pedro also lived in León. He died on June 2, 1258.
