Crazy Diamond Design

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Crazy Diamond Design is a small type foundry based in the UK which specialises in the authentic reproduction of historical handwriting in modern computer typefaces for the Macintosh and PC. Known for their beautifully detailed packaging, all of their typefaces are provided in two forms: a modern face which can be used to produce certificates, posters etc., and an ancient face which contains a wide range of historical characters - from the long s, thorn, yogh and wynne, through a wide range of ligatures and alternative character forms, through to abbreviation marks.

Crazy Diamond Design's typefaces have been used within props in the Harry Potter films, for stage props with the Royal Shakespeare Company, on National Trust signage and within universities and schools, amongst other public and private uses.
