The cue cards used in Subterranean Homesick Blues Video form the most easily recognised and most copied feature of the music video. "Subterranean Homesick Blues" by Bob Dylan contains a number of lyrics displayed on the cards, which are shown to the camera by the dead-pan Dylan as the song plays. The cards also contain a number of variations from the lyrics of the song. These cards have been highlighted with an asterisk (*).
