Cyber-shot
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cyber-shot is a line of digital cameras made by Sony. The Cyber-shot range is well known for its proprietary InfoLithium battery pack, the trademark Carl Zeiss lenses and overall design. Also, all Cyber-shot cameras accept Sony's proprietary Memory Stick or Memory Stick Duo flash memory. Some high-end models have also supported CompactFlash. All Cyber-shot models have a DSC prefix in their names, which is an acronym for "Digital Still Camera".

In 2006, Sony Ericsson (a mobile communications joint venture between Sony and Ericsson) launched a mobile phone using the Cyber-shot branding for the Sony Ericsson K800, featuring a 3.2 megapixel Cyber-shot digital camera and a xenon flash.
On February 6, 2007, Sony Ericsson announced the K810 Cyber-shot phone. Building on the success of the K800, the K810 adds a number of features that make its 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera even more camera-like. It has a xenon flash and red-eye reduction. Sony Ericsson also expanded its Cyber-shot branding to a mid-range handset, the K550, which sports a 2.0 megapixel camera bundled up with autofocus and LED flash.
On June 14, 2007, Sony Ericsson announced its flagship K850 Cyber-shot phone featuring 5 megapixel camera with auto focus, xenon flash and advanced digital camera features – BestPic™, Photo fix and PictBridge.
