The same year at K-1 World GP 2000 in Yokohama he met Peter Aerts again in a rematch and took another TKO win over the famous Dutch fighter. Later that year at the K-1 World Grand Prix 2000 Finals in the Tokyo Dome he met Peter Aerts for the third time but suffered a decision loss this time.
