Cyrus Sahukar fits well into the typical image of a music television VJ. Far from frivolous, he spells maturity that helps him stand apart in the crowd of VJs, while managing to be in league with them. His height leaves a mark along with his campy sense of humour. Cyrus' initiation into the MTV bunch of campers was through the MTV VJ Hunt. His dead pan face and his zany sense of humour has made him one of the most lovable hosts on indian television and the poster boy of comedy. Presently,he hosts 'Rendezvous with Semi Girebaal' on mtv india, a spoof of the talk show 'Rendezvous with Simi Garewall'. He is half punjabi and half parsi[citation needed]. He is also hosting an environmental quiz show every saturday on DD and also a show on NDTV where he judges stand-up comics. He also spoofs Navjot Singh Sidhu as Piddu the great on mtv.
