(The Original DJ FUZE)

FUZE (aka DonJon) busted onto the international Hip Hop scene in 1989 as the DJ and co-producer of the now infamous, legendary, and funked up Digital Underground (D.U.). Alongside D.U., FUZE toured the world for 4 years, with the likes of Public Enemy, KRS 1, Big Daddy Kane, Heavy D. and The Boys, L.L. Cool J., Queen Latifah, Naughty By Nature, 2 Live Crew, Ice Cube, Ice T., and Tribe Called Quest. After collaborating with D.U. founder and band leader, Shock G., and the now immortal Tupac Shakur (R.I.P.) on several gold and platinum tracks, including "Freaks Of The Industry," “Doowutchyalike,” and "I Get Around,” FUZE began working with The Luniz in 1994, on their multi platinum debut album, "Operation Stackola", and joined the group as their DJ, on a 2 year world tour, supporting their international smash hit "I Got Five On It." Alongside The Luniz, FUZE toured with The Notorious B.I.G., Jodeci, Mary J. Blige, Puff Daddy, Missy Elliott, Mystical, The Goodie Mob, Outcast and others.

Since 1995, FUZE has made a conscious effort to return to the side of DJing that he loves best, which is rocking parties, and has worked steadily since then, doing just that, in the Bay Area and far beyond. Always wanting to stay on the cutting edge musically, FUZE is now making a name for himself as a DJ who spins popular Caribbean/Latin and African music, yet with an ingrained hip-hop sensibility, where one must “drop shit clean and on the 1!” Currently, FUZE has grounded himself in Oakland in order to complete his B.A. in International Development and Political Economy at U.C. Berkeley, yet he still performs regularly at the most popular Bay Area Hip Hop/Reggae nightclubs, such as @17, Jillian’s, Karribean City, 330 Ritch, Mission Rock, Club 6, The Oasis, Loft 11, The Down Low, Mezanine, Duplex, Levende Lounge, etc.

So, whether its Dancehall or Soca, Merengue or Coupe Decale, Grown and Sexy R@B or Young and Hyphy Hip Hop, its obvious that DJ FUZE is in this shit Fo Life. Check out young FUZE in the critically acclaimed film "Tupac Resurrection.”
