Daisy Rebecca Evans (born 30 November 1989) is a former member of the pop group S Club 8.
Daisy started dancing at the age of 2 growing up in her family home in Chadwell Heath, Essex, United Kingdom. Daisy lived with her mother, her father, her brother, Aaron, and her sister, Alice, as well as her two cats, Matilda and Chloe. She attended Warren Junior School and starred in the UK tour of Annie.
One day Daisy found out about a talent search being run by S Club 7, a band that she admired. Daisy jumped at this opportunity and went to the auditions, where she won the judges over by singing and performing a small dance routine.
The band first became known as S Club Juniors. They performed songs such as "One Step Closer" and "Automatic High", both of which reached the number 2 spot.
When the split of S Club was announced Daisy and the S Club Juniors were distraught, but they battled on and became known as S Club 8. They became even bigger with such songs as "Don't Tell Me You're Sorry Now" and "Sundown".
Then Daisy and her fellow band members went to starring in I Dream, a CBBC children's drama about a group of children in their theatre school, Avalon Heights.
In late October 2005 S Club 8 split, but it was never announced officially and left fans hanging for weeks. However, now it is almost certain as band members are working on separate projects. Daisy has just left the Sylvia Young Theatre School and is currently on a 3 year performing arts course at a theatre school in her home county of Essex.
Most recently, she was signed to the Score Angels team in January 2007. She now is on the football pitches; dancing, cheerleading and touring with the squad and being seen in night clubs and with fans around the country. Daisy will be looked after by another children’s TV star, Lucinda Rhodes, 25, who was previously signed to the squad. According the Daisy (Credit:NOTW), the group’s whole image is 'sexy women not young girls – and it’s about time people saw the woman I am, I mean I’m not 12 anymore guys! When we were in S Club we used to have 10,000 kids screaming at us while we were performing – so I really hope the football fans will cheer too. It’s going to be such a laugh – I can’t wait to get on the road!'
Daisy's now in a new girl band called "From Above" and they are about to tour around the UK.
