Daniel Jeffrey Jones (born December 23, 1986 in Wordsley) is an English football player who plays as a defender for Wolverhampton Wanderers of the Football League Championship. He is currently on loan at League One side Northampton Town.
Jones is a product of Wolves' academy, and has been with the club since age 10. He signed professional forms in January 2005.
He made his debut for Wolves in a 2-0 defeat at Plymouth Argyle on April 1, 2006. He made a string of appearances in the first half of the 2006/07 season but didn't feature again in the New Year.
In August 2007, he joined Northampton Town on loan until January 2008[1], where he has become a regular first choice.
