Daniel Leo

Daniel Leo (born 2 October 1982) is a Samoan rugby union footballer who can play in the second row or as a back row forward. He currently plays forLondon Wasps in the English club competition, the Guinness Premiership, and has appeared numerous times for his national team Samoa.

Prior to coming to the London Wasps, Leo, born in New Zealand, but moved to Australia at age 18, played for Sunnybank in the Queensland competition, as well as the Queensland Reds. He made his international debut for Samoa at Telstra Stadium in Sydney against the Australia in June of 2005.

He was recently included in the Pacific Islanders rugby union team tour to Europe in late 2006.

He is instantly recognised for his flamboyant afro hairstyle.
