Daniele Padelli (born October 25, 1985 in Lecco) is an Italian football (soccer) goalkeeper. He currently plays for Liverpool F.C., on loan from U.C. Sampdoria

Whilst on loan at Crotone, he competed with Claudio Scarzanella who was on loan from Juventus F.C..

On 12th January 2007 Liverpoolfc.tv announced the news that Daniele Padelli would be signing on loan until the end of the season with a view to a permanent deal. On the completion of the deal Liverpool FC manager Rafa Benitez said "He's a good young goalkeeper who has been selected for his national side. Padelli will give us a good option for the future. The fact he is once again with the under-21s for his national side tells you that we are signing a very good player."

The annoucement of his signing has been met with a mixed reaction by Liverpool fans as many believe this could also mean the end for promising England U21 goalkeeper Scott Carson at Liverpool.

An U-20 international in the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship, he earned his first U-21 cap against Luxembourg U-21, December 12, 2006, replacing Gianluca Curci on 62 minutes.
