Debmar-Mercury

Debmar-Mercury is a television syndication company that is currently a wholly owned subsidiary of Lions Gate Entertainment, which acquired the company in July 2006. Debmar-Mercury was formed from a merger of Debmar Studios and Mercury Entertainment.

It has syndication rights to Lions Gate's own library of films (such as the Saw series and 2005 Academy Award for Best Picture winner Crash) and TV series (such as The Dead Zone). It also distributes Tyler Perry's sitcom House of Payne, the hit Comedy Central TV show South Park (distributed for syndication in conjunction with Tribune Entertainment), a number of movies from Revolution Studios, and more.

In November 2006, the company was awarded the syndication rights to Family Feud and industry rumors suggest that the company could also syndicate some classic Goodson-Todman shows. [1]
