"Delightful" is the first physical single released by Ami Suzuki under the label Avex Trax and also the transition single that marked the end of the old Ami making her return to the music industry.

Contents

Avex did her best trying to promote this return by an artist who was really famous before, releasing the single in pretty different formats including the CD and CD+DVD editions. The song is full of a new Trance feeling new in Ami since her old days as a Sony J-Pop artist, and it can be considered a hit debuting, staring at #2 on the Oricon Weekly Charts and selling pretty much a lot (over 97,000 copies).

The song maybe has a hidden meaning to the Japanese audience, maybe in parts like "I know that I'm not strong at all, but I just wanna do the best I can" (in Japanese) or "Give me a Chance, Give me one more Chance" maybe asking her old fans to give her one more chance in the music industry and trust in her once again (See Ami Suzuki Biography for more information).

The single also includes a b-side and a remixed version of "Hopeful", song that was about to be the first single of Ami in Avex Trax, but after unknown reasons, was changed to this single.
