Ritmo Deportivo

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Ritmo Deportivo (translated as Rhythm Sports in English) is a weekly television series airing Sundays at 3:00pm ET with a rebroadcast at 11:30pm ET (except for after local newscasts on select Telemundo stations in which Titulares Telemundo will air instead) on Spanish-language network Telemundo, part of the Deportes Telemundo line of programming, that premiered in January 2003.

The series is hosted by Leti Coo and Karim Mandiburu and is geared generally to men ages 18 to 24. Each week's episode is filmed in different locations around the United States, Mexico or elsewhere around the world.

The series focuses mostly on extreme sports rather than sports like basketball or baseball. Unlike many Spanish-language series Ritmo Deportivo has some of its interviews in English that aren't translated into Spanish via a translator or subtitles.

Many of Ritmo Deportivo 's segments during the year revolve around Hawaiian Tropic's pageants and models.

The series features regular segments that don't center on sports such as "la Mamaza de Semana" which regularly features Hawaiian Tropic models. A video game review segment is also seen on the series as well as a montage of the week's best sports clips interspersed with music videos. A look at the hottest makes and models in cars also can be seen on the show.
