Devaki Jain (Hindi: देवकि जैन), born 1933, is an Indian economist best known for her work on Development, South Asia, and feminist economics. She along with her husband, Lakshmi Chand Jain are noted Gandhians.

Graduated from St. Anne's College, Oxford, she taught in Delhi University, and held a fellowship at Centre for Advanced Studies at the Delhi School of Economics to do a study of the Indus Waters dispute between India and Pakistan. She was a Fulbright Fellow, attached both to Harvard University, and Boston University. She has been a fellow at IDS, University of Sussex. Devaki Jain's research has mainly focused on poverty and employment, with special reference to women and work.

She was a member of the government of Karnataka's State Planning Board; and has been a member of several eminent person's group and expert groups of both the Government of India and UN agencies. In 2006, she was awarded the Padma Bhushan, the third highest civilian award from Government of India.

Her father, M. A. Sreenivasan was a minister in the Princely State of Mysore.

Her husband, L.C.Jain is a noted Gandhian and former diplomat and her son Sreenivasan Jain is a well known television journalist working for NDTV.
