Diggle is a village within the Saddleworth parish the Metropolitan Borough of Oldham, in Greater Manchester, England. The village is situated on the moorlands of the Pennine hills.

Historically part of the West Riding of Yorkshire, it is located at one end of the recently restored Standedge Canal Tunnel, Britain's longest, deepest and highest canal tunnel.

The heart of the village is the village post office, newsagents and the Methodist church, Wrigley Mill. There is also an Anglican church in the village, Kilngreen. The local school caters for 200 children ages 4 to 11.

A major railway line that connects Manchester to Leeds runs through Diggle. There used to be a local train station in the village, however the nearest stations are now in nearby Greenfield and Marsden. In relation to the road network, the village is in close proximity to the A62.

There are two pubs in Diggle: the Hanging Gate and the Diggle Hotel both of which serve real ales and home-made food. There is home-made 'Grandpa Greene's' ice-cream sold on the towpath near to Ward Lane. At the bottom of Ward Lane a traditional feast of Fish and Chips can be eaten from the Pringles Fish and Chips shop.

Diggle is home to Diggle FC [1], and there is a rifle range locally. There is also a village brass band.
