Discovery Real Time is a male oriented factual television channel produced by Discovery Networks Europe.

It originally launched in the UK during the 1994 as TLC being a British version of the US channel of the same name. It later rebranded as Discovery Home & Leisure and was relaunched under its current name on May 7, 2005 in the UK market and is now aimed to complement the female skewed Discovery Home & Health (which itself replaced Discovery Health)[2]

It is also available in many other countries including France, Ireland, Italy, Australia, the Czech Republic, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines, but owned by the Discovery Communications - Asia.

Exclusive to the UK, there is also Discovery Real Time +1 on Sky Digital channel 251 and Virgin Media channel 272, and Discovery Real Time Extra on Sky Digital channel 252 and Virgin Media channel 274.
