Dissident 27

dissident 27 was a band in Portland, OR active from 2001 to 2003. They released two albums, "bittersweet" and "ep" before imploading. The band was formed by longtime friends Connor Doe and Tris Lass. Never intended to be a live act, the first album was made in the wake of the death of Tris' mother, hence the title. After a few years of failed line-ups and the usual frustrations they called it quits and went their seperate ways. Both are still active on the local scene in Portland and occasionally perform as PLAY>. Reviews of performance and albums are available in the archives of the Portland Mercury and Willamette Week.
